Hidden Pond Park, West Springfield

As expected, you'll come to Hidden Pond Park to find a trail that leads down to a charming little pond. The trail circles the pond, then winds through some nearby woods.

It's a medium-sized park, though unfortunately poorly marked. I reached one T-section where all three directions were marked with identical orange blazes. Never could understand the logic of their blazing system. Fortunately, the park's not large enough that you're in danger of getting seriously lost.

Several sections are quite hilly and others could get muddy, so this isn't a great park for bicycles or difficult dogs.
